Job summary

Amcor is seeking a seasoned project leader in Detroit to drive new packaging initiatives and improvements. You will command multiple projects, coordinate across engineering disciplines, and ensure resources, budgets, and timelines align with strategic goals.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience with injection and blow molding, strong communication, and a proven ability to lead teams through complex technical challenges while partnering with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; packaging discipline preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with injection and blow molding equipment, tooling and processing.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-profile projects simultaneously across assigned accounts.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate across all disciplines while guiding team members.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement resource plans to ensure project success.
• Manage budgets and interface with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Interpret SPC data and guide decisions on project direction.
• Lead a team without direct reporting lines and align with Amcor strategy.
