Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging Solutions North America seeks a Product Development Engineer to lead cross-functional teams from concept to launch. You will own the project plan, manage budgets and drive design reviews to align on requirements and schedules.

The role requires a engineering degree, bottle manufacturing experience, and strong analytical skills. Travel may be needed; familiarity with SPC/DOE/MiniTab is a plus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in product development and bottle manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SPC, DOE and Minitab for data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• PM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-functional team through new product development and launch.
• Manage project plan, budget and scope to meet timeline.
• Oversee design and tooling, document requirements and review designs.
• Coordinate development plans for RFQ responses or business cases.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Report deviations to senior management as the project progresses.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and drive quality metrics with QA.
