Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer to lead technical execution of new product development from concept through commercialization. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and business to drive innovative packaging solutions within timelines and budgets.

Join our North America R&D team and contribute to scalable packaging innovations. Four+ years of engineering experience and proficiency in 2D/3D CAD are required, along with a strong emphasis on safety,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of four years of engineering experience in manufacturing and product innovation.
Experience with 2D design and 3D CAD modeling programs.
Experience in packaging development and innovation environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills supporting data-driven PM.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all stages of product innovation projects from concept to commercialization.
Utilize model shop and 3D printing to drive prototype design and development.
Work with pilot plant for installation and start-up of molds/tools.
Provide data-driven leadership, risk management, and disciplined execution.
Report deviations on time, cost, and deliverables to senior management.
