Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination

  • Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle—from idea generation through production.

  • Maintain project timelines and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Coordinate day-to-day communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors and partners.

Research & Development

  • Stay current on innovations in olfactory science, materials, and market trends.

  • Conduct market and consumer research to support product innovation.

  • Assist with in-house evaluations and provide feedback on scent and product iterations.

  • Gather and consolidate feedback from testers, focus groups, and internal teams.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Track and maintain detailed records of formulas, samples, and product specifications.

  • Prepare presentations and reports to communicate progress and findings internally.

  • Help ensure product development aligns with regulatory and brand guidelines.

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Liaise with fragrance houses, material suppliers, and manufacturers to source and track components.

  • Support quality control efforts to uphold Blueme’s high product standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing on product storytelling, claims, and launch support.

  • Collaborate with design and packaging teams to ensure cohesive brand execution.

  • Support the sales team with product education and launch materials.

Administrative & Sample Support

  • Organize and manage product samples and sample inventory.

  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document key discussions and decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Product Development, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in product development, project coordination, or a similar role (experience in fragrance, beauty, wellness, or CPG is a plus).

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

  • A passion for wellness, fragrance, and creating meaningful products.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude and collaborative spirit.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to fragrance formulation and raw material sourcing.

  • Familiarity with industry regulations for fragrance, cosmetics, or wellness products.

  • Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers.
