A leading company in the fragrance industry is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support product innovation and project management. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners, conducting market research, and ensuring products meet regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience, with a passion for wellness and fragrance. Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle—from idea generation through production.
Maintain project timelines and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate day-to-day communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors and partners.
Research & Development
Stay current on innovations in olfactory science, materials, and market trends.
Conduct market and consumer research to support product innovation.
Assist with in-house evaluations and provide feedback on scent and product iterations.
Gather and consolidate feedback from testers, focus groups, and internal teams.
Documentation & Reporting
Track and maintain detailed records of formulas, samples, and product specifications.
Prepare presentations and reports to communicate progress and findings internally.
Help ensure product development aligns with regulatory and brand guidelines.
Vendor & Supplier Management
Liaise with fragrance houses, material suppliers, and manufacturers to source and track components.
Support quality control efforts to uphold Blueme’s high product standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with marketing on product storytelling, claims, and launch support.
Collaborate with design and packaging teams to ensure cohesive brand execution.
Support the sales team with product education and launch materials.
Administrative & Sample Support
Organize and manage product samples and sample inventory.
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document key discussions and decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Product Development, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in product development, project coordination, or a similar role (experience in fragrance, beauty, wellness, or CPG is a plus).
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
A passion for wellness, fragrance, and creating meaningful products.
Detail-oriented mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude and collaborative spirit.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to fragrance formulation and raw material sourcing.
Familiarity with industry regulations for fragrance, cosmetics, or wellness products.
Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers.
