Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking a Product Designer for its Partnerships team to blend product design, prototyping, motion, and brand craft into high-fidelity experiences. This role sits at the intersection of go-to-market design and in-product brand work, pairing design sensibility with storytelling and polished demos to accelerate partnerships and GTM efforts across the Thumbtack platform.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of product design experience.
• Agency and in-house design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced Figma prototyping skills with motion and interaction.
• Polished micro-interactions and high-craft product visuals.
• Ability to translate brand systems into product experiences with motion.
• Collaborates well with engineering teams and cross-functional partners.
• Strong storytelling and communication to align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a significant portion of our product experience and be accountable for business outcomes.
• Conduct user research and lightweight tests to scope and prioritize product initiatives.
• Transform ideas into compelling business and product cases with clear success criteria.
• Champion learnings as a metric to drive smarter product decisions.
• Partner with marketing, engineers, designers, data and applied science teams to deliver solutions.
• Coordinate within and across Thumbtack teams to align projects.
• Drive high-impact initiatives from seed to scale with thoughtful sunset of non-performing efforts.
