Job summary

Crane Company seeks a Product Design, Development and Sustainment professional to lead projects from concept to completion and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, and quality. The role emphasizes translating customer needs into validated designs and bill of materials changes for new and existing products.

You will develop prototypes, validate them under service conditions, and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries while maintaining strong product knowledge for

Qualifications

• BSME or BSEE required; relevant experience or internships.
• Preferred: 1–3 years in technical project management in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of NPD process; PMI certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from concept to completion.
• Communicate customer specifications with engineering for product test/validation.
• Coordinate BOM creation, costing, and PCR processes.
• Joint development of prototypes and prototype validation with engineering.
• Address customer quality concerns and product returns with quality.
• Develop product/applications knowledge for O&G and Industrial Sensing.
• Respond to technical inquiries via phone and email; support product lines.
• Conduct technical presentations and lunch & learns to demonstrate product value.
