Job summary

Systematic Business Consulting seeks a mechanically inclined engineer to lead crane projects, perform field inspections, and drive equipment upgrades in an industrial setting. You will coordinate customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring on-time delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical engineering, 3+ years in industrial environments, and strong PM and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, maintenance, or mechanical contracting.
• Experience managing industrial construction or capital improvement projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes, brakes, bearings, wire ropes, and structural components.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Overhead crane, hoist, or industrial material handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage industrial crane projects from planning through completion, overseeing schedules, budgets, quality, and safety.
• Conduct field inspections, site evaluations, equipment assessments, and troubleshooting.
• Support engineering design, technical reviews, equipment upgrades, repairs, and modernization projects.
• Coordinate customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering submittals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, CMAA, ASME, and ANSI standards.
