Everlaw seeks a Product Design Manager to lead and grow a team delivering high-impact, AI-powered litigation experiences. You’ll partner with Product and Engineering to shape direction, maintain craft, and ensure user-centered outcomes in a fast-moving, enterprise context.

The role emphasizes people leadership, design operations, and building a strong design culture across Everlaw’s Oakland office with hybrid work.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of product design experience, with 2+ years in people management.
• BA/BS in graphic design, design communication, HCI, or related field.
• Proven track record shipping complex enterprise products with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Elevate team craft, maintain high design standards, and foster user empathy.
• Drive product direction with product and engineering leaders to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Guide AI features to be transparent, trustworthy, and explainable.
• Translate complex workflows into intuitive user experiences and advocate for users.
• Scale team through hiring, mentoring, and design operations improvements.
