Job summary

Everlaw is seeking a Design Program Manager to establish the operating system for our growing product design team in Oakland, CA. As the first dedicated Design PM, you will reduce operational friction so designers can focus on craft, quality, and solving complex user workflows.

This full-time, exempt role offers a hybrid schedule (in-office Mon/Wed/Thu, option to work Tue/Fri from home) and reports to the Design/PM collaboration.|

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Design Program Management or Design Operations in enterprise SaaS.
• Strong prioritization and stakeholder management.
• Experience scaling lightweight design operations frameworks and delivery plans.
• Excellent communication and storytelling for leadership.
• Proficiency with Figma and design tools.

Responsibilities

• Define the design operating model for planning and delivery and maintain the system for visibility of dependencies and timelines.
• Coordinate interfaces between Design, Product, Engineering, User Research, and Technical Writing.
• Build lightweight design operations templates and templates for briefs and critique structures.
• Manage design resourcing and bandwidth tracking to inform staffing decisions.
• Own reporting of design capacity, throughput, and readiness for leadership planning.
