Job summary

TikTok is seeking a campus Design Intern to help shape user experiences for billions of users. You will own product design tasks across TikTok’s short-video and live services, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data teams to iterate designs and translate ideas into specs.

Interns gain hands-on experience with AI-assisted tooling, gain exposure to design systems, and participate in workshops, social events, and development programs. Availability details to be stated in resume.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Undergraduate or Master’s degree in a technical field (HCI/AI/CS/Design).
• Full‑stack product design skills with strong interaction and UI fundamentals.
• Vibe Coding proficiency – able to build high‑fidelity prototypes with AI tools.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, and learning‑oriented; values reflection and improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own product design for TikTok’s short‑video, live streaming, and local services.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data teams to drive design iterations.
• Continuously improve UX by tracking global trends and user behavior.
• Support design implementation using Vibe Coding with engineering on fidelity.
• Apply AI tools to boost design efficiency and translate needs into specs.
