Job Responsibilities

The Associate will complete in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquire and maintain product knowledge, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers and demonstrate products professionally, and maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company reserves the discretion to change the role based on business or client needs.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of the product.
  • Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
  • Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
  • Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
  • Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
  • Complete expense reports as per company policy.
  • Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
  • Access the internet, navigate the company’s electronic systems, and use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination.

Computer Skills: Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler’s permit may be required.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden, prepare foods and beverages with required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming required; retailer dress code specified in training documents.

Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual may be required based on business necessity.
