The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient in using and navigating personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, visual ability to read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladders, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product; prepare foods and beverages using cooking utensils, knives, convection ovens, coffee makers, electric fryers, microwaves; be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming, following retailer dress code requirements provided in training documents.
Language Skills: English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
