An Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company maintains discretion to adjust the role based on business or client needs. This job description does not imply that the listed tasks are exclusive; individuals will be expected to follow other job‑related instructions and perform any other job‑related tasks as directed by management.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient use and navigation of personal computer or mobile device, using applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, visual ability to read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step on ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Work Environment: Retail store environment, limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Must ensure professional appearance and proper grooming; neat, clean, appropriately groomed; specific retailer dress code requirements in training documents.
Language Skills: English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
