Job summary

ABB is seeking an engineer to develop and maintain the product configurator, manage configuration data, and support IT systems for product engineering activities. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate BOMs, part parameters, and changes are implemented efficiently.

The role requires a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree, strong English communication, and experience with SAP, Windchill, and MS Office. ABB values safety and integrity in daily work.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a proactive mindset.
• Fluent in English with clear communication and collaboration.
• Experience with SAP, Windchill, and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain the product configurator and define configuration per design specs.
• Supervise MM status for active parts and ensure engineering parameters are current.
• Support production BOM changes and IT for SAP transactions and related tools.
• Create and maintain ABB global PN numbers (1SDA and EAN).
• Assist with engineering change management and laser marking system support.
