Job summary

ABB is seeking an engineer to develop and maintain the product configurator, ensuring correct configuration and roles per design. You will oversee MM status for active parts and assist with BOM changes while supporting SAP transactions and tooling for engineering activities.

Responsibilities include creating ABB global PN numbers, managing configuration changes, and aiding laser marking system support, with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent English with proactive, collaborative mindset and problem-solving orientation.
• Familiarity with SAP, Windchill and MS Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the product configurator, defining configuration and roles per design specs.
• Supervise and maintain MM status for active parts and verify engineering parameters.
• Provide production order BOM support when changes are needed.
• Assist IT with SAP transactions and external tools for product engineering activities.
• Create and maintain ABB global part numbers (1SDA and EAN).
• Manage configuration engineering change processes.
• Support laser marking activities from a system standpoint (ZLASER).
