Job summary

ABB Inc. in Senatobia, Mississippi, is seeking an Engineer who will drive engineering change implementation and ensure Product/Manufacturing data accuracy.

You will serve as the main technical reference for the product family and collaborate with cross-functional teams onsite to support production capacity and cost analyses. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of related experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with SAP/Windchill and Excel.

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Must be goals-oriented, analytic, and methodical.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, SAP (or similar ERP Systems), and Windchill (preferred).
  • Proficient in Excel data analysis and reports preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and implementing engineering changes across products and coordinating the deliverables between cross functional teams.
  • Ensuring the manufacturing line has the support required to meet market demand by monitoring output and capacity, verifying line balancing meets the required TAKT, verifying work instructions, and removing barriers to achieve this goal.
  • Loading, correcting, and monitoring all data related to respective products using the manufacturing unit's ERP system including Material Masters, Bill of Materials, Routings, and Costing.
  • Establishing contacts with suppliers for technical support to improve material quality and/or to decrease costs.

Job description

This position reports to: Senior Project Lead Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of engineering activities focused on Engineering Change Implementation, Product/Manufacturing Data accuracy, Product Cost Analysis and to serve as the main technical reference for corresponding product Family.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

  • Establishing contacts with suppliers for technical support to improve material quality and/or to decrease costs.
