Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field is required.
• Seven or more years of relevant product certification experience.
• Master’s degree could substitute for years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct projects with detailed plans and integrate technical activities.
• Manage agency certification projects (NSF/ANSI 61, RoHS, REACH, etc.).
• Provide materials expertise on project teams.
• Direct the work and priorities of the certification engineering group.
• Implement engineering tools and practices and develop standards.
• Develop policies and procedures for engineering work.
• Review and approve product designs and changes.
• Analyze technology and resource needs to plan feasibility of projects.
• Perform administrative tasks and manage expenditures.
• Set scientific and technical goals within top management guidance.
• Lead new and existing projects with rigorous documentation and test records.
• Establish engineering priorities to support test plans.
• Track project performance and resolve problems.
• Conduct site investigations for root cause analysis.
• Perform other related duties as required.
