Kadant Solutions Division, Auburn, MA, seeks a Technical Manager to own a product category's technical and commercial success. You will qualify opportunities, drive high-value quotations, and manage capital projects through customer acceptance with cross-functional support.

You will support Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain; lead CPQ initiatives; and push for value-based pricing while maintaining margin targets.

Formación

• In-depth knowledge of the paper making process and related systems.
• BS degree in Pulp and Paper, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Ten years of experience in a paper mill or with a supplier to the paper industry.
• Ability to train and develop sales teams to identify opportunities.
• Strong presentation and value-based pricing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide applications, technical and training support to customers and internal teams.
• Train and develop the sales team to identify opportunities and finalize scope.
• Qualify opportunities before quotes and complete high-value quotations.
• Project-manage capital jobs and ensure customer acceptance with proper handoff.
• Drive CPQ and pricing strategy, maintain quotes and margins.
