Zusammenfassung

Kadant Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer in Massachusetts to develop control systems for products and to support in-house manufacturing processes.

The role involves PLC logic development, control cabinet drawings, and collaboration with customers and suppliers to meet project objectives. The engineer will travel up to 20% for installations and service, with remote troubleshooting when possible, and will work within Kadant Solutions Division to deliver Sustainable Industrial Processing

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with industrial controls.
Strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic controls, PLCs, panel design, process machinery and power distribution.
Familiar with NEC and international codes; hands-on PLC logic development and Controls CAD.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Aufgaben

Lead production orders with controls content from development to installation at customer sites.
Coordinate project activities and guide team members.
Lead in-house manufacturing process and process improvement projects.
Develop cost and time estimates and set milestone dates.
Design cost-effective control systems meeting product performance objectives.
Create P&ID, interconnect, and control cabinet drawings.
