Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Business/Product Analyst to support the product roadmap, translate regulatory and client needs into clear requirements, and partner with product leadership to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.

You will work with the Lead Product Manager to maintain roadmaps, generate BRD/FRD documents, and break work into tangible deliverables while assessing risks and communicating status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written, standup presentation, rapport-building, analytical, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent decision-making skills.
• Understanding of software development life cycle, database and system design, technical architecture, messaging, and database schema.
• Rudimentary SQL knowledge for testing and reconciliation.
• Experience with ShadowSuite is a plus.

Requirements

• BA/S (or equivalent) in Business
• 0-3 years of brokerage business operations or brokerage systems development
• Excellent oral, written, standup presentation, rapport-building, analytical, facilitation, and negotiation skills
• Excellent decision-making skills
• Understanding of software development life cycle, database and system design, technical architecture, messaging, and database schema
• Rudimentary SQL knowledge for testing and reconciliation
• Experience with ShadowSuite® is a plus
• Technology development experience is a plus
• Previous experience on vendor side or working with geographically dispersed groups is a plus
• Certificates or coursework in financial products is a plus, including MBA, CFA Level I or II, or Series 7
