Job summary

Maverick is seeking a Director of Product to own the technology and operational engine behind Maverick’s products in Saint Petersburg, FL. This leadership role will direct an engineering roadmap, run a service delivery team, and reduce friction through AI-enabled solutions.

The successful candidate will blend technical fluency with an operator’s mindset to understand how a modern insurtech and warranty company operates and scales."

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product, technology, or operational leadership.
• Technical fluency to direct an engineering team and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Experience leading or collaborating with engineering to ship product vision.
• Operator’s mindset to improve business processes and scale systems.
• Practical fluency with AI and automation and how it changes operations.
• Strong analytics and data-driven decision making with actionable insights.
• Experience managing a service, operations, or delivery team preferred.
• Experience in insurtech, fintech, SaaS, MGA/MGU, or tech-forward services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap across Maverick platforms including Beacon and HomeCareOS.
• Lead the in‑house engineering team, setting priorities and standards.
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements and ensure adoption.
• Lead HomeCare operations and service delivery via HomeCareOS.
• Drive the tech-based delivery platform toward speed and scalability.
• Lead operational efficiency initiatives using automation and AI.
• Collaborate with Agency Ops, Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, Service.
