Legalpeople seeks a Product/AI Counsel for its Digital Solutions team. This remote, part-time role supports development and deployment of AI-enabled and other digital products across product, engineering, compliance, and business units.
The attorney will advise on privacy, cybersecurity, IP, and technology transactions, helping create scalable governance while managing risk and commercialization opportunities.
Qualifications
- 7+ years as product counsel for technology-driven businesses.
- Strong knowledge of AI, privacy, cybersecurity, IP, commercialization, and product development.
- Experience advising product and technical teams on AI-enabled digital products throughout the lifecycle.
- US J.D. with active license to practice law.
Responsibilities
- Advise on the development and deployment of AI-enabled and other technology products.
- Counsel on AI, privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, IP, and technology transactions.
- Provide practical guidance on product design, functionality, and data use practices.
- Advise on data collection, use, storage, sharing, and protection of data across digital solutions.
- Partner with compliance and operations to develop scalable governance frameworks.
- Assess IP assets and advise on ownership, protection, licensing, and commercialization strategies.
- Help establish processes for IP management and protection.
