Starr is seeking a Producer Licensing and Appointment Technician to support underwriting groups by managing all producer records. The role involves resolving inquiries, maintaining records, and processing appointment requests.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, experience in the commercial insurance industry, and strong communication skills. This position supports the growth of the company and promotes collaboration between Starr employees and broker partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of commercial insurance industry experience with licensing and appointment knowledge.
• Very strong interpersonal/verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve producer-related inquiries from Starr business units.
• Maintain accurate external producer records.
• Process producer appointment and termination requests.
