Job summary

First State Insurance Agency invites a Commercial Lines Producer to drive new commercial lines production and deliver financial services to clients. You will maintain relationships with current clients, coordinate with the Commercial Lines Account Manager, and ensure accurate, timely processing of policies and renewals.

Qualified candidates bring 2–5 years in Insurance Account Management, Missouri P&C license, strong communication, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced agency

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Insurance Account Management.
• Missouri Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Enthusiastic, open-minded and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the team to ensure exceptional service and policy growth.
• Coordinate remarketing/marketing instructions with Account Managers.
• Document transactions, activities and communications in AMS.
• Stay informed of markets and products offered by carriers.
• Review proposals for accuracy and meet with managers to discuss new business and renewals.
• Coordinate with Account Managers on placement of all coverage and collect accounts receivable.

We are a growing insurance and financial services organization serving most states across the nation. Our home office is in Farmington, MO, with numerous locations throughout Missouri.

We are looking for a Commercial Lines Producer focused on the production of new commercial lines. This producer will also provide financial services and benefits to new clients while maintaining a focus on retaining existing clients.

Responsibilities In Accordance With Our Corporate Values

The Producer will work with the Commercial Lines Account Manager and directly with customers in the following functions:

Professionalism

• Producers must provide leadership, direction and encouragement to their team to create a positive atmosphere, exceptional service, revenue/policy growth and improve customer retention
• Provide Account Managers with remarketing/marketing instructions on all accounts

Accountability

• Document all transactions, activities and communications in AMS
• Stay informed of markets and products offered by our carriers
• Obtain signed finance agreements and approval for any special financing

Initiative

• Attend Agency-wide staff meetings and appropriate Department meetings
• Review proposals for accuracy before presenting to new or renewal clients
• Meet regularly with Account Managers to review new business and upcoming renewals

Adaptability

• Be responsible for collection of accounts receivable
• Coordinate with Account Managers on placement of all coverage

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills showing proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and AMS360
• Minimum 2 to 5 years in Insurance Account Management
• Missouri Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Insurance designations a plus: CISR, CIC, CPCU, CLU, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable
