Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the Produce department by receiving, stocking, and presenting product to meet WFM standards. You will help break down deliveries, maintain the floor, and assist customers with a friendly, efficient approach.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk 6-8 hours per day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Knowledge of Whole Foods Market standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by front-facing cases and restocking shelves.
• Assists with organizing and displaying seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leadership.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Participates in periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed, and ready to work with required trainings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Preps, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises product to maximize sales.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work and shopping environments, and safe equipment handling.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and verifies pricing signs.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
