Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Must lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Able to work in wet and cold environments.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
• Temperatures from below freezing to >90°F.
• Able to operate tools and equipment including pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Produce Team Members.
• Works with Produce Trainer to train Team Members in high-performance teamwork.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using checklists and materials.
• Keeps all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and rotated.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork, respect and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members to satisfy customers.
• Selects, trains, develops, mentors and counsels Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Consistently communicates and models WFM vision and goals.
