Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Westport, CT is seeking a Produce Team Member to assist with receiving and preparing product, maintaining the Produce floor and displays, and selling product in support of WFM standards. This role supports the department by breaking down deliveries and stocking shelves.

You will deliver courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members, follow health and safety regulations, and participate in required trainings.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Assists with organizing and displaying seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper stocking and merchandising procedures.
• Follows health, safety, and sanitary procedures.
