Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level Team Members to support the Produce team, including receiving and preparing products, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays to WFM standards. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, adherence to health and safety regulations, and willingness to perform duties across store operations.

You will help with inventory, price accuracy, and merchandising while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked with front-facing products and proper pricing.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing display of volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and team leads.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, answers phones promptly, and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and safety regulations.
• Maintains clean and sanitary working/shopping environment and proper equipment care.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing signs are accurate.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
