Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Westport, CT is seeking a friendly Produce Team Member to support receiving and stocking, maintain the Produce floor and displays, and assist customers. You will follow store SOPs and participate in continuous improvement of product freshness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leaders.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
