Job summary

Whole Foods Market in California is seeking a Produce Team Member to support receiving, stocking, and presenting fresh produce displays. You will help maintain the Produce floor, assist customers, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while supporting store programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, tracking shelf integrity, and providing courteous service. Prior retail experience is not required, and you may be scheduled to work nights, weekends,

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Requires ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
