Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Coordinator to oversee daily department operations, focusing on scheduling, staffing, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will manage ordering, receiving, stocking, and display of products to maximize profits while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of retail experience, and at least 1 year in management. Experience in natural foods is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.
• Serv Safe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, staffs, and hires to meet staffing needs.
• Supports succession planning and develops team members.
• Assists disciplinary actions and makes recommendations on discharge.
• Aims to meet or exceed sales, labor, and margin goals for the department.
• Ensures food safety compliance and accurate pricing across the department.
• Trains department team and maintains a safe, productive work environment.
