Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is hiring a Coordinator team member to plan, direct, and supervise department operations. You will manage day-to-day ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising to maximize profits while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role focuses on scheduling, staffing, training, and promoting internal growth, with accountability for promotions and safety standards across the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling, staffing selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career paths and development, participate in promotions decisions.
• Support disciplinary actions and provide recommendations concerning discharge.
• Attain budgeted sales, labor and margin goals for the department.
• Review sales goals, costs, shrink results, and goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and consult with customers on products.
• Ensure department cleanliness, proper pricing, and signage; backroom organization.
• Train and supervise department team in absence of the Department Manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment; ensure training compliance.
