Job summary

Seed to Table in Naples, Florida, is seeking a hands-on Produce Manager to lead our produce department, overseeing daily operations, inventory and merchandising while delivering excellent customer service.

You will train and guide a team, manage stock levels, and ensure freshness and food safety standards in a fast-paced grocery environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in produce management or supervisory role in grocery
• Strong knowledge of produce varieties, seasonality and handling
• Experience leading and developing a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Understanding of inventory, shrink control and department financial performance
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Customer-focused, hands-on leadership style
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead daily produce department operations including ordering, receiving, stocking and merchandising
• Maintain high standards for freshness, quality, food safety and sanitation
• Monitor inventory levels and manage shrink and spoilage
• Lead, train and support team members; prepare schedules and delegate tasks
• Create attractive seasonal displays to drive sales and enhance experience
• Review sales trends and adjust product selections to meet demand
• Ensure accurate pricing, signage and labeling
• Keep department clean, safe, organized and well-stocked
• Deliver friendly customer service and engaging shopping experiences
• Partner with store leadership to meet department goals
