Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to support the Produce department in delivering fresh, high-quality products and excellent customer service. You will help manage team activities, maintain inventory, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration with other departments to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers in our Atlanta-area stores.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly demeanor and the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Adhere to safety, health, and food handling regulations including a Food Handlers permit.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards and proper receiving, processing, pricing, and rotation of items.
• Lead and train the Produce team and participate in hiring when needed.
• Manage store deliveries and operate produce equipment.
• Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
