Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to support the Produce department in providing fresh, high-quality products and outstanding customer service.

You will help lead the Produce team, manage inventory, and ensure safety and sanitation standards across daily operations. Ideal candidates are 18+, dependable, with strong communication and the ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have an outgoing and friendly behavior with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to perform housekeeping and safety requirements per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards by proper receiving, processing, pricing, signage, and rotation of items.
• Help lead a team to deliver high-quality products and outstanding customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload deliveries and operate produce equipment; ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
