Sysco Corp. in the United States seeks a professional sales specialist to grow new business within the fresh produce category and enhance customer experience.

You will prioritize targets, use analytics, and drive direct selling to customers with a data-driven, consultative approach. Responsibilities include developing targeted strategies, identifying customer needs, and collaborating with chefs and team members.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of sales experience in retail, broker, wholesale or distribution.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or related field.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and data analytics for planning and forecasting.

• Develop and execute targeted produce sales strategies to achieve region and individual annual business goals, delivering profitable sales growth and penetration across the fresh produce category, specialty segments, and Sysco brand
• Identify customer needs and assemble a product mix that delivers solutions and helps achieve business objectives
• Utilize data analytics to prioritize produce opportunities
• Qualify and support top prospect conversion to Sysco
• Stay informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' offerings; share information with customers as value-added service
• Track activities and results, collaborate on opportunities, champion team selling via Salesforce
• Leverage sampling in a solutions-oriented manner to close sales
• Provide feedback to specialty companies and merchandising on product quality and customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, chefs and sales team members
• Support execution of prioritized sales strategies through direct selling and Sysco events
