Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a culinary sales specialist to grow new business and achieve region goals. The role emphasizes direct selling of categories, maintaining certification status, and representing Sysco at culinary events.

You will lead team selling, work with CRM tools, and drive sales growth through strategic customer partnerships. The ideal candidate has executive chef experience with strong culinary knowledge and sales aptitude, plus the ability to train staff and coordinate test kitchen

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years executive chef experience in the foodservice industry.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary degree, 3+ years of foodservice sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute culinary strategies to achieve regional business goals and profitable growth across categories.
• Coordinate with Director of Business Resources to identify top opportunities for business reviews.
• Collaborate with sales partners to identify challenges and deliver solutions to grow customer business.
• Track activities and results, use Salesforce for team selling processes.
• Leverage sampling to close sales and stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings.
• Coordinate internal/external culinary events, shows, catering and tests in the kitchen.
• Develop relationships with customers, chefs and sales teams through local events and competitions.
• Advise on product specs and act as an expert on Sysco Brand and CatMan products.
