Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have 1-3 years of experience in a grocery retail setting with management experience in produce.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department; follow safety, health, and weights and measures regulations.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of the Produce Department.
• Manage inventory and ensure product quality and merchandising standards.
• Coach and evaluate team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews and merit-based promotions.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on hiring decisions and staffing.
• Act as Manager on Duty as needed and lead by example to maintain high service levels.
