Job summary

Ridley’s Family Markets in Wyoming is seeking a Produce Department team member to deliver friendly, high‑quality service while helping to maintain accurate pricing, display, and inventory. You will interact with guests and colleagues, keep the department clean and organized, and use basic computer systems to process transactions and track inventory.

No prior experience is required; forklift and pallet jack certification is preferred or may be required.

Qualifications

• Certification required for forklift and pallet jack.
• Food handlers permit may be required.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic math skills for money, weight, measurement, and percentages.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
• Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
• Know and have the ability to cost out all material to determine proper retails.
• Possess sufficient knowledge and ability to teach others all fundamentals of produce production.
• Assist in maintaining effective department security in compliance with company policy and directives.
• Maintain an awareness of competitive activity within the store marketing areas at all times.
• Maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times.
