Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking team members for the Produce Department to start shifts by reviewing schedules, preparing equipment and stock, and ensuring food safety standards. You’ll enter orders, supervise assistants, manage inventory, and uphold KPI goals across daily tasks while maintaining clean, compliant work areas.

Candidates should meet physical requirements, pass forklift training, and adhere to PPE and dress code policies.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete job duties and comply with policies.
• Must complete the 60-day probationary period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must be able to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must adhere to food safety requirements for the produce department.
• Must maintain attendance and performance standards.
• Must follow safety procedures.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• Must have keyboarding skills.
• Must have and maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at shift start and prepare equipment and supplies.
• Enter orders, schedule work, supervise and train team members, stock items, check dates, and perform department tasks.
• Check inventory daily, remove out-of-date items, stock/pick items, and maintain displays.
• Aim to achieve KPI targets for the department.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
• Track record and loss using known loss tracking (KLT).
