Job summary

The GIANT Company in Middletown, PA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations in the produce department. You will oversee scheduling, inventory, and staff training, ensuring quality and safety standards are met across the department.

You will drive KPI performance, maintain displays, and uphold company policies while supporting community-focused initiatives and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate to perform duties and follow policies.
• Complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must adhere to food safety requirements for the produce department.
• Must have 1 year of work experience or technical training.
• Must have keyboarding skills.
• Must complete the in-house forklift-training program.
• Must have and maintain valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, prepare PPE, and ready gear for duties.
• Enter orders, schedule work and production, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, follow food safety requirements, perform markdowns, and perform department tasks as needed.
• Check inventory daily, remove out-of-date items, load pallets into cooler, stock items, and maintain displays.
• Responsible for achieving all KPI for the department.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
• Track losses using known loss tracking (KLT).
