Job summary

Weis Markets seeks a Produce Department Associate to support daily grocery operations in our store. You will assist with merchandising, pricing, stock rotation, customer service, and supervising associates when needed.

Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with the Produce Manager in scheduling, maintaining freshness, executing weekly ads, and ensuring accurate receiving and logs. A high school diploma and prior retail supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business related or food service‑related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assists department manager in supervising all associates within the department.
• Oversees Produce operations, merchandising, ad execution, associate engagement and customer service.
• Develops merchandising plans and ensures correct pricing and production amounts.
• Maintains inventory, checks deliveries and invoices, and ensures product freshness.
