Job summary

The role supports the Team Leader and Associate Team Leaders to ensure smooth operation and exceptional customer service consistent with WFM standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, training, inventory control, and adherence to health and safety regulations, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Knowledge of produce department processes and policies.
• Ability to train and mentor Team Members.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Produce Team Members.
• Trains Team Members to build a high-performance team.
• Assists in training new Team Members using checklists.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked and rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures breaks are given and shifts run smoothly.
• Communicates concerns to Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high retail execution standards.
• Fosters teamwork, respect and morale.
• Manages customer flow and satisfies customer needs.
• Develops and counsels Team Members to reduce turnover.
• Delivers performance evaluations and promotes WFM vision.
