Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Procurement Systems Manager to lead the expansion and adoption of agentic AI within procurement, while guiding the move from PeopleSoft to a cloud ERP platform. You will oversee system enhancements, partner with IT and vendors, and drive continuous improvement across procurement operations.

The role demands strategic thinking, strong execution, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field required.
• 5-8 years of experience in procurement operations, procurement systems, or related roles.
• Strong experience in Purchase to Pay processes and ERP systems; cloud ERP platforms preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading system implementations or major enhancements.
• Exposure to AI-driven tools, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders; ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion and continuous improvement of agentic AI solutions within procurement operations.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI-driven use cases that improve efficiency, decision-making, and user experience.
• Oversee ongoing maintenance, performance monitoring, and optimization of AI tools.
• Own and manage all procurement-related enhancements within PeopleSoft, focused on process optimization and automation.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional system improvements.
• Partner with IT and external vendors to design, test, and implement system changes.
• Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and alignment with procurement policies and controls.
• Lead the ERP cloud transformation from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based platform; drive readiness and adoption.
