Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is hiring a Procurement Supervisor in Sedalia, MO to lead a fast-paced purchasing team and manage material planning for the master production schedule. You will drive supplier performance, control inventory, and partner with engineering to meet cost and quality targets.

The role requires progressive purchasing experience, ERP/Excel proficiency, and strong leadership. Manufacturing exposure is valued; this is an onsite role at our Sedalia facility.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with purchasing/materials experience.
• 3+ years in purchasing or buying.
• 3+ years Excel experience with advanced formulas.
• 2+ years supervising employees.
• 2+ years ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/JDE).

Responsibilities

• Procurement lead: manage a team planning and purchasing materials to meet MPS and backlog.
• Forecast shortages and adjust schedules with suppliers.
• Develop supplier relationships for cost-effective supply.
• Plan materials for on-time customer shipments.
• Collaborate with engineering on specs and quality trends.
• Manage team performance and development.
