Job summary

Pick Your Part Southeast LLC is seeking a procurement professional to support the Procurement team by maintaining vendor data and ensuring material availability.

You will review vendor acknowledgments, coordinate with vendors on orders, maintain vendor scorecards, reconcile PO and invoices, and generate reports on supplier performance and spending. Some travel may be required.

Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• College coursework preferred.
• Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain product/vendor data in internal systems with expected dates, notes, and appropriate work order status to notify parties of material availability.
• Review vendor-provided order acknowledgments for accuracy including description, lead time, quantities, and pricing; ensure timely receipt of material by due date; monitor back-orders and shipments.
• Facilitate communication with vendors to provide PO numbers for order placements.
• Maintain vendor scorecards to reflect customer satisfaction.
• Reconcile purchase orders and invoices.
• Interface with Procurement team and other departments; coordinate with branches on acquisition orders to meet receiving and put-away goals; liaise with Accounting on invoicing procedures.
• Organize and schedule meetings to improve procurement efficiency.
• Assist in preparing/auditing RFPs.
• Generate reports on Supplier Performance, Spending by Commodity, and Cost Savings.
• May manage general services including office supplies, mail distribution, and facilities issues.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
