Job summary

Mobius Renewables, LLC in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Buyer to support day-to-day procurement across operating sites and projects. You will purchase materials, spare parts, equipment, and services, manage purchase orders, and coordinate supplier activities to ensure timely deliveries.

You will collaborate with Operations, Accounts Payable, and third‑party warehouses, maintaining accurate records and ensuring procurement controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years in procurement, supplier management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience creating, issuing, and managing purchase orders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and prepare and issue purchase orders.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations including pricing, lead times, and delivery needs.
• Prepare bid comparisons and support supplier selection.
• Track open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers on delays.
• Process PO revisions, change orders, and cancellations.
• Resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Support purchasing needs for operating facilities and projects, including spare parts and services.
• Coordinate with Operations to understand requirements, specs, schedules, and priorities.
• Identify alternate suppliers when materials are unavailable or lead times are long.
• Support urgent and emergency purchasing while maintaining controls.
• Maintain supplier contacts, pricing, lead times, and purchasing information.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and required documentation.
• Assist with inventory coordination and coordination with third-party warehouses.
• Ensure purchases comply with procurement processes and approvals, and maintain records.
