Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Procurement Specialist Level 1 to support supplier relationships, review requisitions, and prepare purchase orders in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will work with CMMS/ERP (IMaint, Syteline), negotiate terms, track deliveries, and maintain procurement records while ensuring compliance with safety and ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.
• Perform basic math and data interpretation; read graphs.
• Familiar with CMMS/ERP systems (IMaint, Syteline) and MS Office.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Reviews requisitions and checks authorization signatures.
• Confers with vendors on price, availability and delivery.
• Prepare purchase orders and obtain signatures.
• Follow up on orders and update deliveries in the system.
• Negotiate new vendors and payment terms.
• Receive notices from Receiving when goods arrive.
• Maintain procurement records for items, vendors, costs and delivery.
• Discuss issues with receiving/vendors to identify root cause.
• Expedite delivery of goods to users.
