Job summary

PCC Fasteners in Irvine, CA is seeking a Procurement Specialist – Level 1 for a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. You will manage purchasing of materials, ensure on-time delivery, and support cost objectives.

Responsibilities include PO entry in Powerlink, RFQ review and price negotiation, supplier coordination, vendor sourcing, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Experience using ERP/MRP and purchasing systems.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.
• Background in manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or certification in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain purchase orders using Powerlink; ensure accuracy.
• Review RFQs, negotiate pricing with suppliers.
• Manage open order reports, ensure timely PO closure.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet goals and deadlines.
• Source new vendors and monitor supplier performance.
• Support vendor quote collection for quoting needs.
• Review spend reports and report to management.
• Participate in improving supply chain systems and processes.
• Adhere to purchasing policies and procedures.
