Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support large-scale, hyperscale data-center and infrastructure projects. You will help source materials, coordinate suppliers, manage procurement records, and align activities with project schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in procurement or related fields, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 75% across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, construction management, engineering, business or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of procurement, supply chain, construction, operations or project coordination experience.
• Experience with vendor management, quotations and procurement records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities across planning, execution, commissioning and closeout.
• Assist with sourcing, supplier solicitation, bid evaluations and documentation.
• Coordinate material and equipment purchases per project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain procurement logs, vendor records, purchase orders and communications.
• Support vendor and subcontractor relationship management activities.
• Identify procurement risks, supply constraints and delivery challenges.
• Track material releases, orders, shipments and delivery schedules.
• Contribute to procurement reporting, forecasting and project status updates.
• Travel up to 75% to support long-term onsite assignments.

Education
